Britons Energy Bill to Triple by 2020

'Britain’s electricity customers will have to pay much higher bills by 2020 under new government plans to introduce renewable energy including nuclear and other environmental measures. The government’s plans to renew the country’s energy infrastructure needs £110 billion in funding, much of which will be spent on low-carbon power sources like wind farms, according to British media reports. Therefore, the money the energy firms add to customers’ energy bills would be tripled from £2.35 billion a year to £7.6 billion to be paid for renewable power.'
